We have the following procedures in addition to the AT2 manual instructions:
Crystal Ball Bingo (CBB) – Operating Procedures:
1. Point of Sale – Players may submit a scan form with player selected numbers or players may accept computer quick pick cards. Players may play paper or electronic version of CBB. BJ’s does not permit the staff to handpick numbers for the players as this process slows down the buy-in line.
2. Lock Management - The Crystal Ball game is locked before the first number is placed on the screen. The caller will call the RIM counter to be sure that the game is locked to prevent any additional sales. (Occasionally the shift manager sells CBB in order to fix an error, so we have assigned the locking task to the RIM attendant)
3. Playing – Players play either
4. Malfunctions
a. Occasionally – CBB games will not load into a stationary and it is not known by the player until the game has started. The player has their choice of remedy:
i. Employee will enlarge players receipt using copy machine so that customer may play along (Managers will bonus inconvenienced players with BJ bonus bucks), or
ii. Manager will refund 5 times the cost of the games minus point play.
b. All CBB games with fewer numbers than is required by the game are void. The player will be credited 5 times the cost of the game in BJ bonus bucks or cash depending on the player’s frequency.
5. Verifying - All CBB games are verified by the Game tech verifying system. Verification ensures:
a. The cards were sold on the current day.
b. Cards were not previously voided
c. Had not previously been verified.
d. Has numbers that were called during the game.
6. Payouts are paid like any other game and are paid using the Payout Center.
Radio Frequency – RF –
Bingo numbers called and game information is transmitted to the traveler bingo units using RF. GTI has installed the correct equipment to provide RF to all travelers played inside all four bingo rooms at BJ’s.
1 The bingo caller will reboot the stage equipment prior to the start of every session and watch the messages on the screen to make sure that the server has found and is responding with all 4 hubs on the bingo floor. If the caller sees fewer than 4 hubs responding, the caller will reboot again. If the problem continues, the caller must report problem immediately to the shift manager who will reboot again and if necessary call for tech support.
2 If a traveler unit is not receiving information through the RF, it is most likely due to a bad antenna in the specific traveler. This problem will be preceded by numerous RF errors displayed in a red box on the players unit. At this point the player will be directed to play using the manual mode until a new traveler is downloaded and exchanged with the nonfunctioning traveler. The nonfunctioning traveler will be exchanged with a new traveler from GTI ASAP.
3 Players who intentionally cause damage to any property of the operation including travelers or stationeries will be turned over to tribal gaming and the tribal police. |
