For many players, friendship plays a big part in the attraction of the game. What better item to offer these players then greeting cards that they can exchange with their fellow bingo players, family and friends. The cards can even be used to bring in new players. An added bonus...your hall is recognized for promoting friendship among your players. These cards are both good for business and good for your image.
Here are a few ideas how they can be used:
1.) Friendship day is August 3, 2008. Each year it is the first Sunday in August. Promote this day as the greeting card giveaway day and encourage your players to bring a friend, who doesn’t normally play bingo, to all your sessions. Give a box of greeting cards to each player. See the link at the bottom of the page for more information about Friendship Day.
2.) Friendship Week or Month - February is the official international friendship month, but in your hall it can be August along with Friendship Day. For the entire month of August, or a week in August, offer each of your players a box of greeting cards for each new player they bring to the hall to play at least 1 session. You can also offer the friend a box of cards as well. This could work well with the referral program described on promotingbingo.com website. Click the link at the bottom of the right hand column of the home page for all the details.
3.) Bingo Buddy Day - This is similar to Friendship day only there is not an official day so you can schedule it at any time. The other difference is that this is for players and their regular ‘Bingo Buddies’. Play a Bingo Buddy game where the ‘Buddies’ of all winners are winners also. (Similar to Good Neighbor).
4.) At the price point these cards are available, you can sell these in your gift shop for points or cash.
Retail Value - $10.00. |
